Zac Coventry’s passion for service is only matched by the breadth of life experience he brings to the table. After serving as Student Body President of Texas A&M University, Zac performed sustainable agriculture and community development work in China, Argentina, Ecuador (Peace Corps 2007-2009), and Mexico.

In 2010, Zac returned to the US for a deep dive into sustainable urban infrastructure systems. He published academic research on waste-to-energy technologies and then worked at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s (NREL) Strategic Energy Analysis Center. In 2018, Zac transitioned to engineering operations by managing power transmission projects and holding executive roles in two construction companies.

Zac is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP). He holds a BS in Agricultural Development and a graduate certificate in International Affairs from Texas A&M University. Zac also has a master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Colorado Denver. Away from the office, Zac enjoys outdoor adventures with his wife and kids. He is “almost famous” for crossing the US-Mexico border more than 365 times – on a bicycle.
