Dan Flaherty embarked on his illustrious career in the energy industry back in 2009, and in March of 2024, he brought his wealth of experience to our team at 5. As a Senior Energy Advisor, Dan applies his expertise to guide commercial and industrial energy users towards sustainable solutions, cost optimization, and effective energy risk management.

Dan proudly graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing, laying the foundation for his journey in the energy sector. Drawn by our phenomenal team, strong values, and vibrant company culture, Dan chose to join 5 to continue making a positive impact in the industry.

When not immersed in energy matters, Dan finds solace and inspiration in exploring the diverse landscapes of America's National Parks. Glacier National Park and Zion National Park hold special places in his heart, fueling his adventurous spirit as he ticks off destinations from his extensive bucket list.
