FORTUNE MAGAZINE RECOGNIZES 5 AS A TOP WORKPLACE IN TEXAS

Second Consecutive Year of Recognition for Irving-based Firm

Irving, TX - March 20, 2019

For the second consecutive year, FORTUNE and its research partner, Great Place to Work®, have recognized energy advisory firm 5 as one of the best companies to work for in Texas. Great Place to Work analyzed anonymous survey feedback from over 42,000 Texan employees in determining the list of those companies named to the prestigious annual list.

Employees responded to over 60 survey questions describing the extent to which their organization creates a Great Place to Work For All™. Eight-five percent of the evaluation is based on what employees say about their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization, no matter who they are or what they do. The remaining 15 percent of the rank is based on an assessment of all employees’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, and the effectiveness of their leaders, to ensure they’re consistently experienced.

“FORTUNE’s recognition of the 5 culture is especially gratifying because it is a direct reflection of how our employees view our company,” said Chief Culture Officer Jeff Schiefelbein. “It’s an affirmation of the investments we have made to create an incredibly close-knit – and inspiring – group of like-minded individuals who are dedicated to pushing the envelope and changing our industry for the better.”
