Aubrey Skalak brings a strong background in mechanical engineering and facility systems to his role as Director of Energy Engineering at 5. He serves as a hands-on consultant for clients, helping optimize equipment performance, support generation projects, and implement strategies for utility cost reduction, including 4CP and peak demand management.
He studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Missouri and began his career in the semiconductor space. Aubrey joined 5 in search of an environment where collaboration and client impact come first. What drew him in was the culture: a place where doing the right thing matters, where people work together, and where client needs drive the work.
Fun fact: When he is not solving energy challenges, Aubrey enjoys golfing, fishing, and playing video games.
