Kelly Dodd

Kelly’s career in the energy industry began when she joined 5 as an energy advisor in 2015. In this role, she supported commercial and industrial clients throughout North Texas with their energy-related needs. With time, Kelly’s client base grew to include businesses throughout the country.

Kelly’s exceptional ability to serve her clients’ needs set the stage for her to become 5’s first Account Manager. Today the Account Management Team has grown considerably and they are responsible for supporting some of 5’s largest national clients. Clients know that they can depend on Kelly to always do the right thing and provide best-in-class energy advice for their businesses.

Before entering the energy industry, Kelly worked in sales for Vonage Communications, where she provided cloud-based solutions to businesses. Kelly has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Criminology from Colorado State University. She lives in Fort Worth with her husband Donovan and her daughter Collins. In her spare time, she loves to cook and travel. One day, she hopes to do a World War II tour throughout Europe.

Kelly’s Why: “Before joining 5, I would have said that I do what I do for a paycheck. Now, I take pride in my contribution to our business. It excites me to think that I can be an example for my child and show her that there are people lucky enough to work at what they love every day. It is not always easy, but if you are willing to continually improve, you get to be a part of something special and bigger than yourself.”
